What travels with a lot, and who is allowed to receive it
Research reagents are only as good as the paper that identifies them, and only as appropriate as the laboratory they are sent to. Both are checked before dispatch.
- 01A certificate for the lot you receiveIdentity, purity, appearance, and the retest or expiry date belong to that batch. The method is named. A catalogue purity is not a substitute for the certificate.
- 02PeptidesSequence, terminus, and modifications are stated. HPLC purity, net peptide content, related impurities, water, counter-ion, and mass are reported as the lot supports. Chromatogram and spectrum are available with the file.
- 03Small molecules and natural productsIdentity is tied to the CAS record and to an analytical method on the certificate. Purity is a measured figure for that lot, not a standing claim.
- 04Storage and packThe label carries the storage condition and the pack size supplied. Light-sensitive and hazardous articles say so. The safety data sheet is available to the verified account.
- 05TraceabilityStock code, lot number, and the institution on the order stay together. We can say which certificate left with which shipment.
- 06The buyer is part of qualityWe do not release material until the account has passed due diligence. A correct chromatogram does not make an unverified address an acceptable destination.
Research use only
Articles are not finished medicines and are not sold for human or veterinary administration, food, cosmetics, or household use. The verified laboratory is responsible for handling, local permits, and the design of its own work.
